Knowledge is Power
Whatever your test results show, get the information you need to make important decisions and take care of your sexual health. All sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are treatable—and most are curable. Our network of caring and knowledgeable providers will support you along the way, so you can keep yourself and your loved ones healthy.
If your test results are negative, learn about prevention. There are many ways to prevent STDs and HIV, including options like PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis). PrEP is a daily pill that prevents HIV. It’s recommended for those at greater risk of HIV, including some men who have sex with men and transgender women.
Talk to Your Provider About HIV Care
While HIV is still considered a serious virus, treatment is available and effective. If you have been diagnosed with HIV, getting into care and taking your medication is the best way to stay healthy and prevent transmission. By receiving effective care, your HIV levels can become “undetectable,” which means you can't transmit HIV to others. Learn more about how Undetectable = Untransmittable (U = U).
Talk to your provider and stay in care. Be empowered to take control of, and enjoy, your sexual health.
