Women of transgender experience and transfeminine people especially those of color, are disproportionately affected by HIV. With funding from the Minority HIV/AIDS Fund, Denver is one of ten sites nationally that is participating in NHBS-TRANS. Our aim for the project is to work closely with the community to meet national objectives while also ensuring that the project positively impacts the long-term health and well-being of women of transgender experience and transfeminine people in the Denver metro area.
Locally the NHBS-TRANS project is known as TLC, Trans Liberation Through Community.
